Live.Love.Dance

"If you can talk, you can sing: if you can walk, you can dance". Do you agree with that African proverb? I think it needs a bit of adjustment:

"if you can walk, you can definitely dance in front of your bedroom mirror".

Well, at least that's in my case.

Last Friday night I took off my imaginary dance shoes and went out with a few dancers (me just observing of course). That was a night I thoroughly enjoyed and will absolutely do it again.

I've always wanted to dance randomly in public and make people stand and watch in amazement. However, that obviously never happened but i got pretty close to having that experience....Take a peek.

With that said in the above picture...
On with the dance! Let joy be unconfined
Feel free to leave a comment recommending a dance school for me to join.

Thanxx.

First time for everything...

Finally the long awaited july/aug vacation is here! [whoop whoop ] Instead of moping around for 2 months like I normally do, I'm going to spice things up a bit...throw in a little paprika, geera (cumin) and some cayenne pepper into the mix [of life]. Also, since my friend Eleanor is migrating to England in a few months, I wanted to make this holiday one of her best. For such reasons I created a bucket list...well it's in progress.

THE LIST (thus far) :

  1. Take a day trip to San Fernando
  2. Learn to make doubles*
  3. Learn to surf
  4. Skim in Grafton beach (Tobago)
  5. Take the bus to Maracas Bay
  6. Do something random in public
*Doubles is a common street food in Trinidad and Tobago. It is a sandwich made with two bara (flat fried bread) filled with channa (curried chick peas. Topped with a variety of spicy chutneys.

Stay tuned for updates on my progress and also for a few DIY tutorials here and there. I've got a lot of great stuff in store to keep you entertained this vacation. According to Super Jigga TC I have "plenty vybz, plenty vybz and plenty action".
